Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until just tender.

Drain the noodles and rinse with cool water to stop the cooking process. Lay them flat on a clean surface to prevent sticking.

Step 2: Make the Meat Sauce

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the diced onion and cook for 3–4 minutes until softened.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the ground beef and cook for 5–7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spoon until fully browned.

Drain excess fat if necessary.

Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 3: Prepare the Cheese Mixture

In a medium mixing bowl, combine:

  • Ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Egg
  • Fresh parsley

Mix until smooth and well blended.
