Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients using a spatula. Mix until just combined.
Avoid overmixing the batter because it can make the cake dense instead of soft and tender.
Step 5: Prepare the Blueberries
Toss the blueberries with 1 tablespoon of flour. This helps prevent them from sinking to the bottom during baking.
