For the Pecan Pie Topping

  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
