To make these wonderful rolls you will need to gather the following items from your kitchen or the store.

5 large russet potatoes which should be about 1 kilogram in weight

500 grams of lean ground beef or ground lamb or ground chicken

1 large yellow onion finely chopped into small pieces

3 cloves of fresh garlic minced very fine

1 large egg to help bind the potato dough together
-
100 grams of all purpose flour for the dough consistency

50 grams of cornstarch to make the outside extra crispy

1 teaspoon of fine sea salt for the potato mash
-
1 teaspoon of black pepper for the meat filling
-
1 teaspoon of paprika for a smoky flavor and nice color
-
2 tablespoons of olive oil for sautéing the meat
-
1 cup of breadcrumbs if you choose to coat the rolls before frying
-
Vegetable oil for frying as much as needed for your pan
-
A handful of fresh parsley chopped for garnish and flavor
