Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

Prepare brownie batter (box or homemade).

Spoon about 1–2 tablespoons of batter into each liner — about one-third full.

Bake for 8–10 minutes (par-baked, not fully baked). Remove and set aside.
Step 2: Make Cheesecake Filling

Beat softened cream cheese until smooth.

Add sugar and mix again.

Beat in eggs one at a time.

Add vanilla and sour cream (or heavy cream). Mix until creamy.
Step 3: Assemble Cups

Pour cheesecake mixture over brownie base, filling each cup almost to the top.

Tap tray gently to release air bubbles.
Step 4: Bake

Bake at 325°F (160°C) for 18–22 minutes, until centers are just set (slightly jiggly).

Remove from oven and cool to room temperature.

Chill in refrigerator at least 1 hour.
Step 5: Load with Toppings
Now comes the fun! Add:
