Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Grease a muffin tin thoroughly with butter or non-stick spray. Proper greasing is important because the pastry expands significantly during baking.

Step 2: Prepare the Cinnamon Sugar

In a small bowl, combine:

  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Mix well and set aside.

Step 3: Roll the Puff Pastry

Lightly flour your work surface.

Place one sheet of thawed puff pastry on the counter and gently roll it into a rectangle measuring approximately 10 x 12 inches. This helps create thinner layers and a taller cruffin.

Brush the entire surface with melted butter.

Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the pastry.

Repeat with the second sheet of puff pastry.
