Pat the pork chops dry using paper towels.

- Dried thyme
Mix thoroughly until evenly combined.

Rub the seasoning mixture generously over both sides of each pork chop.
Press lightly so the seasoning adheres well.
Allow the pork chops to rest for 5 minutes at room temperature before cooking.
Step 4: Heat the Skillet
Place a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add olive oil and butter.
Once the butter has melted and begins to foam slightly, the pan is ready.
Step 5: Sear the Pork Chops
Place the pork chops in the hot skillet.
Cook for 4 to 5 minutes on the first side without moving them.
This helps create a caramelized crust.
Flip the pork chops and cook for another 4 to 5 minutes.
