Easy Hobo Casserole 

A classic, hearty, and budg
et-friendly meal that’s pure comfort food! Layers of seasoned ground beef, tender potatoes, carrots, and green beans are baked in a creamy mushroom sauce and topped with melted cheddar cheese. Simple, satisfying, and delicious.
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
2 cups sliced carrots
1 can (15 oz) green beans, drained
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
½ cup milk
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground meat with the chopped onion and garlic until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease.
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked meat mixture, sliced potatoes, carrots, green beans, cream of mushroom soup, and milk. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until everything is well coated.
4. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
5. Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
6. Remove the foil, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top, and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and the vegetables are fork-tender.
7. Let cool slightly before serving.
