Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure easy cleanup.
Proper oven temperature is important because it helps the cheese melt evenly while allowing the edges to become perfectly crispy.
Step 2: Arrange the Pepperoni
Place the pepperoni slices evenly across the prepared baking sheet. Leave a little space between each slice.

The pepperoni acts as the crispy base for the pizza chips and also helps create that classic pizza flavor.
Step 3: Add the Cheese
Sprinkle small piles of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of each pepperoni slice. Use about 1 tablespoon of cheese per chip.
Avoid overloading the cheese because too much can spread excessively during baking.
For extra flavor, sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning or garlic powder on top.
Step 4: Bake Until Crispy
Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 8–10 minutes.
The cheese should become melted, bubbly, and golden brown around the edges. Keep a close eye during the last few minutes because the chips can quickly go from crispy to overcooked.
Step 5: Cool Before Serving
Remove the chips from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes.
As they cool, they will become crispier. Transfer to a cooling rack if desired for maximum crunch.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
