Cook time: 25 minutes
Total time: 45 minutes
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients:
* 1 lb ground beef
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 1/2 tsp black pepper
* 1 tsp smoked paprika
* 1/2 tsp chili powder
* 1/2 tsp garlic powder
* 1/2 cup queso cheese dip (thick)
* 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
* 1 sheet refrigerated pizza dough or crescent dough
* 1/4 cup diced jalapeños
* 2 tbsp diced red onion
* 1 tbsp chopped pickled jalapeños (optional for extra heat)
* 1 tbsp butter, melted
* 1/2 tsp sesame seeds (optional topping)
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, chili powder, and garlic powder.
3. Divide beef into 4 portions and flatten each into thin patties.
4. Spoon queso into the center of each patty, then fold and seal tightly into balls to create stuffed burger bombs.
5. Roll out the pizza or crescent dough and cut into 4 equal sections.
6. Wrap each beef ball completely in dough, sealing all edges.
7. Place on baking sheet seam-side down, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle sesame seeds if using.
8. Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked through.
9. Let cool slightly, then serve hot with extra queso or dipping sauce.
Pro Tip:
Chill the stuffed beef balls for 10 minutes before wrapping—this helps keep that cheesy queso center from leaking out while baking!
