Total time: 35 minutes
Yield: 4 servings
Ingredients:
* 1 lb ground beef
* 1 tbsp taco seasoning
* 1/2 cup water
* 4 large flour tortillas (burrito size)
* 4 small tostada shells or tortilla chips
* 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
* 1 cup shredded lettuce
* 1 cup diced tomatoes
* 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
* 1/2 cup sour cream
* 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
* 2 tbsp butter or oil for grilling
Instructions:
1. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, then drain excess fat.
2. Add taco seasoning and water, simmering for 3–4 minutes until thickened.
3. Lay a large tortilla flat and spread a layer of seasoned beef in the center.
4. Drizzle nacho cheese sauce over the beef, then place a tostada shell on top.
5. Spread sour cream over the tostada, then add lettuce, tomatoes, shredded cheese, and cilantro.
6. Place a small piece of tortilla (or cut one) on top to help seal the wrap.
7. Fold the edges of the large tortilla inward, creating a hexagon shape.
8. Heat butter or oil in a skillet over medium heat and place the Crunchwrap seam-side down.
9. Cook for 3–4 minutes until golden and sealed, then flip and cook the other side until crispy.
10. Remove, slice in half, and serve hot.
Pro Tip: Press the Crunchwrap gently with a spatula while cooking to lock in that signature shape and get an evenly crispy golden crust!
