Low-Carb Cottage Cheese Pizza Crust
This pizza crust has become a staple in our home, especially when we want a healthier option for family movie night. It’s high in protein and low in carbs, making it a win-win for both the kids and me. Plus, the best part? It’s so easy to whip up!
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups cottage cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 large egg
½ cup almond flour
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, combine cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, and egg. Mix well.
3. Stir in almond flour, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper until fully incorporated.
4. Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping it into a round crust about ½ inch thick.
5. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until the edges are golden and the crust is firm.
6. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before adding your favorite toppings.
7. Return to the oven for an additional 10–15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
