Ingredients:
* 1 lb chicken breast, cut into small chunks
* 1/2 cup flour
* 1/2 cup cornstarch
* 1 tsp garlic powder
* 1 tsp paprika
* 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
* 1/2 tsp black pepper
* 1 tsp salt
* 1 egg
* 1/2 cup buttermilk
* Vegetable oil for frying
For the sauce:
* 1/3 cup hot sauce
* 2 tbsp honey
* 1 tbsp butter
* 1 tsp chili flakes
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
2. In another bowl, whisk egg and buttermilk together.
3. Dip chicken pieces into the wet mixture, then coat in the seasoned flour mixture.
4. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry chicken in batches for 4–5 minutes until golden and crispy.
5. In a small saucepan, melt butter and mix with hot sauce, honey, and chili flakes.
6. Toss the fried chicken in the sauce until evenly coated.
7. Serve hot with extra sauce on the side.

Add a squeeze of lime or sprinkle of green onions on top to balance the heat with a fresh pop!
