Stir in tomato paste and pizza sauce. Cook for another 2–3 minutes until the mixture becomes thick and flavorful.

Step 2: Prepare Taco Shells for Air Frying

If using soft tortillas, lightly shape them into taco forms using a rack or folded foil.

Lightly spray or brush taco shells with oil for crispiness.

Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.

Step 3: Pre-Crisp the Taco Shells

Place taco shells in the air fryer basket.

Cook at 375°F (190°C) for 3–4 minutes until slightly crisp but still flexible enough to fill.

This step ensures they hold the filling without becoming soggy.

Step 4: Assemble the Pizza Tacos

Carefully remove taco shells from the air fryer.

Fill each shell with:

  • A spoonful of seasoned beef
  • A layer of mozzarella cheese
  • A layer of cheddar cheese
  • 3–4 pepperoni slices per taco

Add extra toppings if desired.

Step 5: Air Fry the Loaded Tacos

Place assembled tacos back into the air fryer basket.

Cook at 360°F (182°C) for 5–7 minutes until:

  • Cheese is melted and bubbly
  • Pepperoni edges are slightly crispy
  • Shells are golden and firm

Step 6: Final Touch & Serve

Remove tacos carefully using tongs.

Let them rest for 2–3 minutes before serving.

Serve with warm pizza sauce for dipping.
