Fudgy Avocado & Cacao Green-Center Brownies
These brownies are a delightful surprise in my home! Packed with healthy ingredients, they’re rich and fudgy, yet you wouldn’t believe they’re made with avocado. My kids devour them, and I love sneaking in some extra nutrition without anyone noticing!
Ingredients:
1 ripe avocado (mashed completely smooth)
1/2 cup cottage cheese (blended)
1/2 cup cocoa powder
2 large eggs
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
2. In a large bowl, combine the mashed avocado and blended cottage cheese until smooth.
3. Add the cocoa powder, eggs, maple syrup, baking powder, salt, and vanilla extract. Mix until the batter is well combined and creamy.
4. If using, fold in the dark chocolate chips for an extra fudgy texture.
5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly.
6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
7. Let the brownies cool in the pan before slicing into squares.
