🌮 Birria Tacos (Detailed Recipe)

Introduction

Birria Tacos are one of the most viral and beloved dishes across United States today, inspired by traditional Mexican cuisine. Originally from the region of Jalisco in Mexico, birria is a slow-cooked, richly spiced stew—traditionally made with goat, but now often prepared with beef. What makes birria tacos special is that the tortillas are dipped in the flavorful cooking broth (called consomé) and then grilled until crispy, while being filled with tender shredded meat and melted cheese.
