Ā Ingredients:
* 1 lb large shrimp (peeled & deveined, tail-on)
* 1 cup buttermilk
* 1 cup all-purpose flour
* 1 tsp paprika
* 1 tsp garlic powder
* ½ tsp onion powder
* ½ tsp salt
* ¼ tsp black pepper
* ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
* Vegetable oil (for frying)
* ½ cup hot honey
* Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Ā Directions:
1. Place shrimp in a bowl and coat with buttermilk. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
2. In another bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and cayenne.
3. Remove shrimp from buttermilk and dredge in seasoned flour until fully coated.
4. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep pan.
5. Fry shrimp in batches for 2ā3 minutes until golden and crispy.
6. Remove and drain on paper towels.
7. Drizzle or toss shrimp with hot honey while still hot.
Pro Tip:
Donāt overcrowd the panāfry in batches to keep the shrimp extra crispy and golden!
